Washington, D.C. —This week, the House of Representatives passed all three bipartisan bills brought to the floor by the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. These bills showcase our commitment to our veterans by identifying barriers to accessing disability and pension benefits for reservists and members of the National Guard, as well as ensuring VA conducts key oversight of its hospitals’ policies regarding patient safety and quality of care. With these three additions, the Committee has passed a total of 36 bills through the House this Congress.

Full list of passed legislation:

  1. H.R.4920, Department of Veterans Affairs Contracting Preference Consistency Act (Rep. Takano)
  2. H.R.4183, Identifying Barriers and Best Practices Study Act (Rep. Khanna)
  3. H.R.3530, Improving Confidence in Veterans' Care Act (Rep. Cloud)
